Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que is located by the 605 and Carson in the Long Beach Town Center. This is one huge restaurant and they have awesome bbq. Some of the other items that they have that are worth mentioning are strawberry lemonade, garlic mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, apple butter, southern fried chicken and much much more.
I love this place and when people come in from out of town, I will be sure to bring them to Lucille’s. The mashed potatoes are awesome you need to make sure you try them when you are selecting your side dish. The prices are a little steep but you get what you pay for and in this case it is really good food.

In Florida “Sonny’s Bar-B-Que” is my fave! I go as much for the fried okra as the meat! Next trip to LBC I’ll have to check out Lucille’s!
