I had the Ranchera Omelet. It came in a skillet and was delicious. Cafe Bixby has been around for a long time in the Bixby Knolls area and this is the first time I actually went in for breakfast. I was served quickly and I thoroughly enjoyed my food.
Cafe Bixby is located on the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Roosevelt just across from Chase Bank. It has that local neighborhood restaurant feel that people have been going to for many years. You get exactly what you order and when you walk in you get the old diner vibe and that is the way they treat you. I wish they had more of these kinds of places around.
The parking lot looks like it probably gets pretty jammed up especially on say a Sunday morning and they are in need of a roof repair because there is a big blue tarp on the roof and that looks kind of ghetto. Other than those to observations I have no complaints and look forward to coming back again.
