Hooters

Ok so everybody says they go to hooters for the wings. The do have good wings but I think what they mean to say is that they go to check out that Hooters girls.

I enjoy going down there to watch the Lakers games or in the case of last night the NBA All Star Game that was in Orlando. When there is a basketball game on you know you are in Laker territory which is just fine by me.

When you grab a seat at the bar you basically have about 5 different television to watch from just about any angle. They have a huge pull down projection deal in the middle of the place so if you sit down and grab a seat you will for sure be able to watch the game there.

I have always enjoyed the bartenders and last night was no exception. I took it easy this time around and ordered a cobb salad and a diet coke and then I sat there for about 3 hours.

My only complaint would be that parking anywhere in the Pike is kind of a hassle and you have to park in the parking structure. When there is a big game and everybody is pouring out of that structure at once you can get stuck in a line for a long as 15 minutes waiting to go down the swirly things you have to drive down to get out of there. That is my only complaint though.

I love Hooters girls. Don’t tell my Fiancee that, she thinks I go for the wings. But honestly the wings aren’t the special part of the trip.

I’d never go to a Hooters. But I’m glad you had a good time.

Personally I’m glad they never made it here in the UK – it’s not something I’d want my daughter to aspire to! It’s about time we males stopped justifying such twaddle!

I went to Hooters several times. It’s a guy thing. My friends and I just enjoy whatever was on at the time. Good services.

    Louie,

I am very proud to give you my opinion here. My own company was the lead sponsor of an event for the Brooks family Hooters. I have never forgiven Coby Brooks for the way he treated me and our company. He is rude, clueless, and seriously not capable of running a company of this size without a Mr. Smithers by his side.

On the restaurant itself, without any bias regarding the comments above.
The uniforms are outdated, and Texas has plenty of competing T&A style restaurants with far better food and uniforms (Twin Peaks).

The wings are not worth the hype, and that’s the food they tout! Plus I bought their sauce in a grocery store and used it…woah! horrible.

Anybody with a marketing brain knows the orange shorts need to be updated or have to GO!

The whole enterprise is based off of a south Florida venture from the 1980′s when the Buccaneers were wearing ORANGE pants to play football in, laughing stock of the NFL. If you think the Bucs can upgrade to pewter, don’t you think that Hooters can at least get some updated uni’s instead of this 70′s decor (and it opened in the early 80′s!). I’m expecting Farrah Fawcet 1976 to walk out in orange shorts any minute!!

Well, having met Coby prior in 1999 as VP of Marketing for his event when we were the headline sponsor and the way he acted? I am not surprised that the company has had difficulty since his father passed in the early 2000′s

Don’t get me started, do you wonder why they aren’t publicly held? They would be fried and burned like their food in a public audit.

    Did I say too much?

    Hooter’s is good food.

Many people think of hooters as a dressed up strip club but that really isn’t the case at all. When you walk in you get a hearty “Welcome to HOOTERS” from the staff and, yes, clothing leaves little to the imagination but the food delivers.

I have never been and thought, that was not worth it.
I can’t say that about any other chain at a similar price point or below, bar none.

I honestly don’t care for Hooters. They are severely lacking in any vegetarian options. If they had more veg options, I would eat there – but fried pickles just do not a meal make

Hooters is up here in Canada too. I can’t stand that orange those girls are forced to wear. Beyond that, it’s always fun for the boys night out….so my husband has told me in the past. I’m sure he goes for the wings too.
